What is the Mobility Scheme?

• Equipment is available to hire on a daily and weekly basis.
• Anyone wishing to use the service will be asked to complete a registration form and hire agreement, those people already registered with the Community Car Scheme will NOT need to fill in a new registration form.
• The equipment will be available to those people resident in Tuxford and surrounding villages and for family members who may visit e. g. a relative staying for a short holiday or Christmas visit.

All the equipment has been serviced and checked with 'Care Matters' in Retford and ready to be used.

Home Insurance cover may be required.

There is a range of mobility equipment available to borrow or hire at reasonable prices including:-

• walking sticks
• pair elbow crutches
•  'A' frames with wheels
• zimmer frame
• lightweight wheelchairs
• battery driven scooter
